Bluebird Behavioral Health provides individualized, telehealth-based mental health care and medication management for individuals ages 7 and older, with specialized experience supporting autistic individuals, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and those with complex behavioral and mental health needs.
Bluebird also welcomes parents and caregivers seeking mental health care for themselves. We recognize that supporting someone with complex needs can bring unique experiences and challenges, and caregivers deserve thoughtful, individualized care of their own.
Initial Evaluation
$350
A comprehensive first visit focused on understanding you or the person you care for. We’ll discuss current concerns, medical and developmental history, medications, previous treatment, communication style, sensory needs, individual strengths, daily functioning, and goals for care. Together, we’ll develop an individualized plan for treatment and medication management.
75 to 90 minutes
Medication Management Follow-Up
$175
Ongoing, individualized medication management focused on finding the safest and most effective treatment approach for you or the person you care for. Follow-up visits include monitoring symptoms, behavior, functioning, medication effectiveness, side effects, and changing needs.
30 minutes
Caregiver, Family & Support Team Consultation
$175
Dedicated time for parents, guardians, caregivers, care coordinators, behavioral support teams, residential staff, school staff, outside mental health therapists, or other members of the support team to discuss the needs of the person you care for or support.
Consultations may include changes in behavior or functioning, medication observations and side effects, sleep, communication and sensory needs, environmental factors, caregiver or team observations, and other concerns that may help us better understand and support the individual.
These visits provide an opportunity to collaborate across home, school, community, residential, and therapeutic settings and promote a consistent, individualized approach to care.
*Consultations are available for established patients and require appropriate consent or authorization when applicable.

Medical Cannabis Evaluation & Certification
$225
A comprehensive evaluation for individuals interested in the New York State Medical Cannabis Program. We’ll review your or the person you care for’s medical history, current symptoms, diagnoses, medications, previous treatments, treatment goals, and potential risks and benefits of medical cannabis.
When clinically appropriate, certification for the New York State Medical Cannabis Program may be provided along with individualized recommendations and education regarding treatment.
Medical cannabis certification is based on an individualized clinical assessment and is not guaranteed.
Follow-up appointments may be recommended when ongoing monitoring or changes to the treatment plan are needed.

Sexuality & Consent Capacity Assessment
$750
Individualized assessment for adolescents and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to evaluate understanding of relationships, sexuality, personal boundaries, safety, and consent. The assessment includes clinical evaluation, relevant record review, assessment of consent-related knowledge and decision-making abilities, individualized recommendations, and a written report to help guide education, supports, and care planning.

Medical Cannabis Recertification
$150
For established patients who need to renew or extend their New York State Medical Cannabis certification.
During the appointment, we’ll review your response to medical cannabis, current symptoms, benefits or concerns, side effects, medication changes, and any changes in your medical history. We’ll also discuss whether medical cannabis continues to be an appropriate part of your treatment plan and make recommendations as needed.
If continued treatment remains clinically appropriate, your New York State Medical Cannabis certification may be renewed or extended.
Recertification is not automatic and is based on an individualized clinical assessment.

Autism Diagnostic Evaluation
$1,750
Comprehensive autism evaluation including developmental and clinical assessment, review of relevant records, standardized assessment measures, diagnostic formulation, a comprehensive written report with individualized recommendations, and a feedback session to review results and next steps.
This includes: Full written report, standardized measures, record review, diagnostic formulation, recommendations AND feedback session
